Healing Rooms Conference News
As you can read from the Conference Report, we had an awesome time at the Healing Rooms Conference. God answered our prayers and poured out His Spirit upon us.
We have been prophesying for a couple of months that Southampton will be known as a healing city and so we were really blessed and encourged when that same word came forth through Stacia Thompsom, who heads up the intercession for the whole of the Healing Rooms ministry in Spokane.
We were encouraged that there was an excelleration in the spirit, that God is quickening things for His purposes.
We were impacted by the revelation of God's unshakable Kingdom that can be seen on earth, where signs wonders and miracles ought to be the norm rather than the exception.
We all went away lifted and many were released into their destiny in God.
To all those who came to the Conference, we bless you and appreciate you all for making it what it was by your participation and faith. If you were stirred into action, keep the fire burning and do not be diverted from what God spoke into your heart. If you still await the manifestation of your healing, just remember that your healing took place 2000 years ago and keep contending for it.
You are part of the answer!
God has only one plan, the church! The Greek word for the church is 'ekklesia' which literally means the called out ones. The ekklesia are called out whether they are on earth or in heaven so by that definition, that is the only people that are part of what God is doing either on earth or in heaven.
This may sound odd but stay with me. This is not meant to breed exclusivity or pride but is a statement to lay a foundation for the encouragement I want to bring. Only those who receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour are given the right to become children of God according to John 1:12 so those people only, become the ekklesia or called out ones.
I had the priviledge to lead a lady to Christ yesterday and immediately she too became one of the ekklesia, part of the answer not the problem. So before the end of the age, God's desire is that ALL men are saved, not just some but ALL men should come to the knowledge of the truth. If ALL men get saved then ALL of them would be part of the called out ones. So far from being exclusive it is ALL inclusive!
One Scripture that I am particularly encouraged and motivated by is found in Ephesians and if we ever wanted to know God's purpose, we can see it here.
Ephesians 3:10 in the Amplified Bible reads, "The purpose is that through the church the complicated, many-sided wisdom of God in all its infinite veriety and innumerable aspects might now be made known to the angelic rulers and authorities pricipalities and powers in the heavenly sphere".
Why don't you read that verse again and get it into your spirit? I have emphasised some key words to encourage you.
So through these 'called out ones', the church, God will demonstrate His purpose to the angelic rulers, authorities, principalities and powers in the heavenly sphere! Luke 10:19 (Amplified Bible) says, "Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and physical and mental strength and ability over ALL the power that the enemy possess; and nothing shall in any way harm you."
This authority and power has purpose to it and it has been given to you! That purpose and work is to be the very same purpose and work that Jesus came to begin! We know that Christ totally defeated the devil at Calvary and dissarmed him but now there is a maintaining and demonstration of that victory, that Christ has empowered the church for.
1 John 3:8b says, "For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil."
The Amplified Bible says that He came to, "...undo, destroy, loosen, and desolve the works the devil had done."
God is the Master of pattern and design. You can see His unbreakable patterns and order all through the Bible. Christ came to destroy the works of the devil in the power of the Holy Spirit, but He left for our good because He sent another like Him, the Holy Spirit. Now His Spirit is here to continue the same purpose of destroying the works of the devil, but as we have seen in Ephesians 3:10, it is through the church which is the body of..........CHRIST! We are meant to look like Him!
If we are His body, then we ought to be doing what He did! No where in the Bible does it say that we are the body of Adam! We are the body of Christ and as He is in this world so are we!
Can you imagine what it would be like if all the parts of this body actually co-oporated with each other and moved as one in power!
What is your part in this body? Can you see yourself as part of the answer? Will YOU step out and begin to do a work worthy of Christ's body? You have purpose, destiny and permission to operate in Mark 16:17-18 which are the instructions Christ left us right before He ascended. DO GREAT THINGS!
