Isaiah 53:4-5 are to me, two of the most important verses in the Bible because, if from these verses, we can get our salvation, forgiveness of sin, then we can also get our healing from the same verses! Here we see a prophetic revelation of the Son of God, Jesus, making a total exchange and substituion once for ALL! Sin and sickness went up onto Jesus, forgiveness and healing came down through the blood of His cross. QUESTION. Here is a question for you. Who do you personally know who is not included in the finished work and benefits of the cross? The truth is that no one is excluded from any part of that work, isn't that wonderful! This means that forgiveness is yours, and healing is yours! Hebrews 11:6 says, "But without faith it is impossible..." Let us just stop there a moment. Many in the body of Christ (church) have deferred the responsibility for healing onto God without realising that the gospel of the Kingdom was passed down from the Father, through the Son to the Church! It is not up to God to decide who is to be saved and who is to be healed because ALL are included in the finished redemptive work of the cross. God is not going to preach, He said, "As YOU go preach...heal the sick". (Matthew 10:7-8) Faith is not meant to be hard or mystical, faith is produced by hearing God's word! (Romans 10:17) Faith and unbelief cannot operate at the same time. Doubt has no substance to it, no truth undergirds doubt, but faith is the very substance of the thing hoped for. (Hebrews 11:1) The word of God is a seed and it has a harvest already in it! If God has given us the seed that contains the high-yield harvest of healing, but we do not plant it and tend it, then God is not responsible for a lack of harvest. No seed, no harvest. God is not deciding whether or not we can have the harvest because it is already in the seed that He gave us and you can't take the harvest out of the seed! So be encouraged today and plant the seed of God's unfailing word in your heart and water it by prayer, thanksgiving to God, and by reading His word the Bible. We were all included in Adam's transgression, but Jesus dealt with Adam's transgression and now we are all included in Christ's obedience and victory through faith in Him! Bartimaeus' blindness was never the issue with Jesus, it all hinged on what Bartimaeus believed Jesus would and could do! If you have an affliction, that is not the deciding factor in your state of health, neither is the affliction your identity, the sum total of who you are. If we believe the report of the Lord, we shall see the arm of the Lord revealed to us. (Isaiah 53:1) Be assured that Jesus bore your affliction away on His own body. Even HIV, which was not around 2000 years ago is being healed today because with God, ALL means ALL! He bore ALL our sin and ALL our diseases! We hope by now that you will have an understanding that you are included in the "ALLs" of God. Jesus became a curse for ALL, He died once for ALL, ALL who call upon His name shall be saved! Plant that seed of God's word and tend it. Speak God's word, not man's opinion, don't allow the seed to be dug up, even by your close friends who may not understand God's promises. If you do not lose heart you shall reap (Galatians 5:9 see Amplified Bible). Finally, Psalm 103:2-3 encourages us with this truth, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not ALL His benefits; Who forgives ALL your iniquities, Who heals ALL your diseases..." (Emphasis mine). Sin came into the world along with sickness and death througn Adam's transgression, righteousness and forgiveness came into the world along with healing and health through Christ's obedience. BE ENCOURAGED!
